I hope you guys have had your coffee already because if you haven’t yet, you may not be able to keep up with what comes next.

Why?

Because today, I have the effervescent Janel of Nellie Bellie guest-blogging for me.

Janel is a veritable whirlwind of energy, humor, and crafting ingenuity, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to say, “Take it away, girl!”

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Hi all!! I am sooo excited to be here! Because…that means that Abbie is probably busy doing…something (my guess: changing or feeding) with her twins!

How cool is that…twins! I would like to say I am jealous. And in some way I am. Because twins are always the coolest. But really…I’m just planning on sending her love and taking extra naps in her honor.

What I’m really here for is 5 things Thursday. The one where we talk about 5 things. Or we do 5 things. Or…we have 5 kids. Oh wait. That’s Abbie. Gasp! From 3 to 5 in one fell swoop. She’s such an overachiever.

Okay, time for introductions. I’m Janel. I blog at NellieBellie. I think Abbie is one cool lady and am so pleased to be able to take her blog away from her for the day!

Let’s move on to the 5 things Thursday, shall we? I craft. It’s what I do. So…let’s craft. With only 5 supplies we are going to make this… fabricpumpkin

Cute. And easy.

The 5 things:

Pool Noodle (technically you could use something else but it’s just fun to use a noodle)

Leaf Green Yarn

Square of fabric

Scissors.

Step 1. Cut a piece of the noodle off. About 2 in high or so.

Step 2. Cut a square of fabric quite a bit larger then your noodle….

Step 3. Wrap the fabric around and tie it with yarn.

Step 4. Tie the leaf on with the yarn.

Step 5. Wrap the yarn all the way up the “stem”.

Hey…look at that there are even 5 steps in our 5 Things Thursday Craft! Yay! Another quick look at the final project…just for fun!

Thanks so much for hanging out with me ! Come by and see me at NellieBellie some time…I would love to have you! And Abbie…here are my 5 little words of wisdom…

1. Sleep when you can.

2. Eat when you can.

3. Shower when you can.

4. Dress when you can.

5. Enjoy those babies…always!

…………………………………………………………………………………………..

Thanks, Janel! Great advice (though, really, how necessary are showers in the grand scheme of things?).

And thank you for sharing a little gem from your massive craft arsenal.

Seriously, y’all, if you ever get in a craft rut, just turn to Miss Nellie Bellie, and you’re sure to find something inspiring and crazy-creative!

See y’all tomorrow for Feature Friday FREE-FOR-ALL!
