Warning: I went a little nuts with the pictures this week, especially on the first ensemble because my cutie-pie of a daughter consented to pose with me, and I absolutely love the pics she’s in.
Link-ups:
Dress: Beall’s ($12), Belt: Umm…can’t remember, but you know it was cheap!, Shoes: Goodwill ($3)
TOTAL: $15-ish
Top: Beall’s ($6), Tank: Walmart ($3), Shorts: Goodwill ($3), Shoes: Goodwill ($3), Belt: Goodwill ($1), Headband: made by me
TOTAL: $16
Oh, and check out who I found hanging around my ankle when I zoomed in on this pic. I don’t know whether to be flattered or creeped out:
Can you see him?
A side note on my aviators: it’s a good thing I’m better at keeping children alive than sunglasses because I do not exaggerate when I say that I have gone through at least 8 pairs in the last year alone (maybe more). They last about a month, and then a little boy steps on them, or I step on them (which makes one wonder what they’re doing near feet so often), or the little screw falls out never to be found again. It’s a disease. I just got this pair at Marshall’s for $7 and am hoping they buck the trend, but I’m not betting on it.
Top: Gap ($6), Skirt: Goodwill ($4), Shoes: Goodwill ($3), Belt: Goodwill ($1)
TOTAL: $15 (with the shades)
Top: Abercrombie (I’m ashamed to admit…I don’t like that store, $10), Shorts: Goodwill ($3), Shoes: Goodwill ($3)
TOTAL: $16
Top: Goodwill ($3), Jeans: Factory connection ($10), Belt: Goodwill ($1), Shoes: Beall’s (wait for it…waaaait for it…$0.88, yes that’s right, folks…EIGHTY-EIGHT CENTS! I don’t even remember how I did it except that it involved a ridiculously good sale, coupons, and BOGO, but I still consider it among my greatest bargains of all time), P.S. I’m in love with my vintage grape-cluster necklace, which I also wore here with a tragic pair of walking shorts ($4) P.P.S. These photos were taken on July 4th at my parents’ house, and this outfit represents my concession to dressing patriotically: red, white, and blue (jeans). Har, har.
TOTAL: $18.88 ; )
Top: Gap ($10), Tank: Old Navy ($2), Shorts: Beall’s ($8), Bandana: Gap ($2), Shoes: Marshall’s ($20, which is a splurge for me, but MAN do I love them!)
TOTAL: $42 (YIKES!)
Well, that does it for Wardrobe Wednesday, but join me tomorrow for Thoughtful Thursday when I will reveal my thrifting methods and the five best (clothing) deals I’ve ever found.
**Update: I’ll be posting my Summer in Snapshots collage a little later on today in a separate post**
Oh, you’re so sweet! Thanks!
You are so pretty and your daughter is adorable! Great outfits, too!
Nope, all mine! ; ) But, yes, I do have pretty good luck with Goodwill shoes. I’ll take it!
Thanks, Bekah!
I would love it if Evaleigh and Della could be friends! And sunglasses…sigh. It’s terrible. I may have already lost the pair of I just bought (though I’m pretty sure they’re at my mom’s house).
Wow you have awesome luck with Goodwill shoes. I should thrift in your state.
I think Evaleigh and Della would be great friends if we lived closer!
Love all the outfits, as usual. 🙂
I just did a post about sunglasses…. they never last for me, either. So I buy ’em cheap too. It’s kind of a running joke in our house!
