I’m not making light of what has been a very stressful time for most of the world, but I will say that one silver lining, at least in our neck of the woods, has been the chance to create a little more with Lindsay during these last several weeks of quarantine. Both of our lives have been on warp speed for years now, but we managed to find a little time between homeschooling and deep cleaning our linen closets (that’s a joke, friends) to collaborate on three new prints recently. All three would be perfect as Mother’s Day gifts or maybe simply as timely reminders for your own walls?
Either way, we had fun creating them!
If you’ve noticed my new site redesign, then you might recognize our new “Mama” print.
Aren’t those blues and greens and pinks just dreamy??
And this one is a favorite already.
Galatians 5:22-23 is such a convicting, beautiful passage of Scripture, so we wanted our Fruits of the Spirit print to just as beautifully represent it.
And last, I don’t often quote myself (well, ever, before this), but when I do, I get Lindsay to hand-letter it with whimsy. 😉
In case you can’t read it from this capture, it says, “Motherhood is the only profession that requires you to live with, eat with, school with, and, all too often, go to the bathroom with your co-workers without even the possibility of quitting, a pension, or being able to fire anyone for ‘unreasonable behavior.’ And it’s still the best job I’ve ever had.”
Oh! And, of course, there’s this oldie-but-goodie.
Our Call Her Blessed print has been delighting mamas for several years now. I’ve given many of them as gifts myself, and it’s certainly a sweet tribute to the mothers in our lives.
In case you find yourself with a hankering to order any of these mama-themed prints (or any of our others), you can use the code MAMA25 (through May 6) to get 25% off of all orders over $15. (Plus, shipping is always free).
Happy early Mother’s Day! (And May the 4th be with you…I just had to).
These prints are wonderful!! If someone orders a print do you sit down and recreate these everytime?or do you have a way to just print it off your computer or something and then just ship it out?My daughter would love to get into this business with her watercolor drawings but have no idea how to sell them in that way.How do you prevent copyright issues?
Pretty! I LOVE your quote!
