Well, we’ve done a bit of walking, but other than that (and the whole moving from one place—Texas, USA—to another—Mazatlan, Mexico…temporarily), I’ve done very little “moving it,” and I can’t say I’m too terribly sad about it.
Our condo is absolutely lovely, and although the weather is a bit on the toasty, humid side here, that’s nothing I haven’t seen before.
Anyhoo, I’m not sticking around to chat (a really good book is calling my name), but I thought I’d let you know you’re in for a treat tomorrow for Try-it Tuesday and that if you want to follow along on the FB page, that’s where I’ll be posting mini-updates and pics of the trip as we go along (I might even post a shot of my doing Body Pump…if I ever get around to it ; )).
I know most of you aren’t relaxing in a tropical environment, but I do hope you’re enjoying the start of your week as much as possible.
As they say here: Que les vaya bien!
y…
Hasta la vista…baby.
{Yeah, they don’t say that here}
P.S. I’m very much enjoying the surprised expressions on the taxi-drivers’ faces when the gringa starts haggling with them in Spanish over the best price. I can’t wait to bargain-shop in the markets!
Thanks for the link. I have a dress with a bleach stain on it 🙁 that a flower would be perfect for covering up! Now I know how to make it.
Hi Julie!
I’m so glad you like the flower because I did make it!
I even have tutorials for all three flowers right here – https://www.fivedaysfiveways.com/2012/04/3-things-thursday-skirt-challenge.html
Enjoy! : )
Love the flower on your top. Dare I ask where you got it, or did you make it?
They would be surprised, lol. It surprised/impressed me to know you were fluent, but then my mom filled me in. Anywho, keep enjoying yourself.
You can “move it” when you get back. Have an awesome time and just relax!!
This most certainly made me laugh. Spanish is good! Please do have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
have funnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
You look so cute in that pic! I’m trying to get past my jealousy for you being in a tropical destination & be being stuck in hot, dry Texas…..sigh! JK…..I wasn’t expecting you to be posting while away, so I was excited to see your post…..sweet!
Awesome that you speak Spanish…..I’d love to see their expressions too. Can’t wait to hear some haggling stories 🙂
