We’ll be heading back from a whirlwind trip to New Braunfels today, and while it’s been quite enjoyable and a nice break from cooking dinner, I’m ready to sleep in my own bed. I hope the twins are too, seeing as how they haven’t slept through the night once while we’ve been here. Insert big frowney face.
The kids may not be so ready to head back, especially considering that the word “Schlitterbahn” was included in this trip.
Oh, and also there was this:
Any trip that involves a cupcake loaded with frosting and topped with a shark cookie emerging from the “waves” is bound to be a hit, right?
I’ll share more next week, but right now, I’ve got to run off and find errant flip flips to stuff back in suitcases (why is it that repacking is always so much more hectic than just plain packing?) and rustle up some breakfast.
I hope your weekend is as sweet as a shark cupcake with ocean blue ice cream!
