Hey guys!

Here’s the thing: I miiiiiiight have been a bit remiss when I introduced 3 new furry members of our family.

I mean, they’re cute and all, but honestly there’s one other little addition around here that we might be a wee bit more jazzed about.

Yes, I realize that it pretty much looks like I ate too much in this particular shot, but let me assure you that I have daily proof in the form of little baby kicks (aka: the coolest thing ever) that there’s actually a human being in there (who currently weighs about as much as a burrito, come to think of it).

In case you’re wondering, I am 20 weeks along, which means…CHRISTMAS BABY!!!!!

(I had to sound all excited in case the poor kid can somehow read in utero and has x-ray vision…in which case, we might have bigger things to worry about than a kid who has to share a birthday with Jesus).

(Yes, I realize December 25th is not actually Jesus’s birthday).

(And that if the baby could really read and had x-ray vision, all of this would be read as well).

(Humor me).

(Hormones).

Where was I?

ANYhoo, we’re super-excited! Well, everybody except the twins. They honestly have no clue, poor little things. They just like to poke my belly button a lot.

And now you’re caught up on the most momentous thing happening around here!

Start warming up your 50/50 guessing skills! I’ll have a gender poll up on the blog on Monday! 😉

  1. Congratulations Abbie – so excited for you guys, even if I never met you guys! And even more excited to be having babies round the same time again, the twins are just a little younger than my son and we also expecting a Christmas baby.

  2. So ALL 6 of those are yours? Wow, you’ve got your hands full. Hmm, so how many children are you going to have? You do know how that keeps happening?
Just thought I’d get you warmed up for all the ‘lovely’ comments you’ll hear from strangers! I think it’s great! Congratulations!!

  3. “I love comments so much I’d actually consider making them my sixth kid …”

Better make that seventh. 😉 hehe

  4. WOW! Surprised, excited and…….. you look awesome for 20 weeks!!! Blessings to you and your little one {and hubby and the little siblings too!} 🙂

  5. Congrats! Seriously, we must be on some sort of the same schedule because I have kids that were born within a few weeks each of Della, the Twins, and now I’m about 3 weeks ahead of you for this one. I guess yet again I’ll share in your journey as you go through the same things I do!

  6. Congratulations! Wonderful news! I wanted a December baby SO badly! Not sure why…now that I have one. : ) No, really I love throwing a birthday party amidst the Christmas decorations. My little cutie has asked for a “wedding cake” birthday cake for the last two years, so that all kinda breaks the holiday rut up a bit. : )

  7. Beyond excited for y’all!!! Nearly choked on my drink while reading your latest post on Instagram….I had yet to read this announcement. I was so excited you’d think we were bff ‘s and neighbors or something lol. Nope, just a crazy, stalker (jk) that loves your blog!!!! Congrats sweet lady!!

  8. Congrats! You look amazing! I’m currently 30 weeks with our first and I am a little huge 😉 haha but I’ve seen the gamut, were all different when it comes to our pregnancy bodies and it’s beautiful!

    Congrats again 😉

  9. Congrats!! Very exciting! I’m having #5 in February and kind of freaking out a bit! You are inspiring and I enjoy reading your blog!

  10. Oh congrats!! How exciting! You sure are gonna have a full and busy house around there. I lose my sanity with one baby so to handle six and of such young ages? super mom 🙂

  11. Congratulations!!! It’s my opinion that December babies are the best! 🙂 I am the 14th the boy is the 23rd and the dog is the 18th, makes for an extra busy month but I wouldn’t change it for anything! (just remember no birthday presents wrapped in Christmas paper and no joint gifts!!)

  12. Congrats! Much more exciting than three little kittens 🙂 Christmas babies are so fun! p.s. I can’t believe you are already 20 weeks, I am terrible at secrets and usually can’t keep things quiet past 9 weeks.

  13. Congratulations! I was just thinking about you adding to your family as Mandi watches her littlest move closer to toddlerhood.

  14. Aw, I’m so happy for you and your family – and that baby – that’s one lucky kid! I must say, I’m beating you to the punch on this one though. I’m 31 weeks today. 😀 Yay for God’s most precious blessings!

  15. Congrats, Abbie! I’m excited for this new little one to be joining your family! I think it’s time for another boy… so that’s my guess! 😉

  16. gratulations! What a blessing! I pray that you find a lovely midwife to bond with again on your pregnancy journey.

  17. Yay!!!! I was just thinking the other day that isn’t it time for you guys to be adding another little one!! Haha!! A few months ago we gave all family planning over to God… We are due Dec 19th!! It’s a boy!! I’m 20 weeks today!! 🙂 This is #3 for us. I had c- sections with the other two but are praying for a natural birth this time so we can have more after him!! (If I have a c- section it would be surgery #7 in 8 years and me and hubby don’t think I should have anymore. Takes it’s toll on a body!) I will be praying for you and congratulations!! 🙂

  18. Congratulations Abbie and family!! So very exciting and thrilled for you! Safe and healthy pregnancy to you! <3

  19. That’s awesome!! Congratulations to all of you! I can’t wait to hear fun little stories of this new addition!! 🙂

  20. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!!! congratulations!!!!! I am so excited for you and your family!!!! What a huge blessing! You are killing me with that itty bitty belly; so adorable!!

Look forward to guessing and sharing the journey to his/her arrival ❤️

  21. Congratulations! I know another baby will enrich your family so much. You and your kids will just love they to pieces. Such a blessing!

I love hearing from you guys!
