If I were going to get all metaphorical and poetic this morning, I would say that this week has felt a bit like a stampede of hungry elephants, and I have alternately been hanging onto their tails and getting trampled under their feet.
How’s that for descriptive?
In normal girl speak, what I’m trying to say is that the last thing I really remember is that it was Monday…but I’m pretty sure it’s not anymore. Today is Friday, right?
It’s occurring to me that one of the things that got lost somewhere under the elephant feet is the announcement of the winner for the $50 Target Gift Card.
So, let’s get that done right away, okay?
You won yourself a $50 shopping spree to Tarjay! Congrats, girl, and check your email for the deets!
So…in the interest of convincing myself that things did get done, here’s a quick look at what I got up to this past week:
BODYCOMBAT launch (where we jump around and yell a lot, and our eyes glow red/green/whitish with the fire of our love for this class).
More on that this upcoming Monday.
Also, thank you for all your feedback on what direction you’d like to see future fitness posts going. It helped a lot, and the little hamsters in my brain are already trundling busily on their wheels. (Which, yes, explains a lot).
I made a shirt to silence all those “5 kids! Are you crazy?” (yes) questions at the grocery store. I doubt it will work, but I kind of think it’s cute.
I finally decided what my style is called. Because “schizo-chic” is totally legit.
I spent the day with this lovely birthday boy:
And ended it with this lovely dinner:
(If you’ve never tried Wildfire’s parmesan-crusted filet mignon recipe, you should. Like tonight. It’s goooooood)
So, what about today? Well, today is all about you and how you spent your week!
Let’s take a peek at a few of my faves from last week, shall we?
1. Knot dress (tutorial and pattern) from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom
2. Peanut Butter Temptations from Delightful Deets.
3. Valentine’s Wreath from Simply Living
4. Valentines-themed Vintage Window from An Extraordinary Day
5. “Boredom jar” from Etcetorize
6. Chalk-painted Media Center from 24 Cottonwood Lane
As always, I could have picked many more, but that’ll have to do for now. Because it’s time to link up again!
If you’d do me the honor of following along with the blog on on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest, I’d be so grateful. And don’t forget to grab a Feature Friday FREE-FOR-ALL button for your posts so others can join in the fun!
